As India advances towards its Net Zero ambitions and the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, the focus is steadily shifting from commitments to credible, on-ground action. In this context, TheCSRUniverse is set to host the Climate Action and Sustainability Conference and Awards (CASCA) 2026 on April 22 at India International Centre, New Delhi.
Aligned with World Earth Day 2026 and its theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” this year’s conference builds on its own central theme, “LiFE in Action: Powering India’s Sustainable Future and Net Zero Goals.” The platform will bring together leaders from policy, industry, and civil society to explore how sustainability can move beyond intent into measurable and scalable outcomes.
The conference will feature keynote addresses and high-impact discussions led by senior policymakers, corporate leaders, and sector experts. Hon’ble Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti, will deliver the Chief Guest address, offering perspectives on water security, community participation, and sustainable resource management.
Through a series of focused sessions, CASCA 2026 will examine key priorities shaping India’s sustainability landscape. These include industrial decarbonisation, climate tech and AI-driven solutions, circular economy models, water resilience, low-emission transitions, and climate finance. Discussions such as “From Commitments to Credible Actions” and “Climate Tech and AI: New Era of Sustainability” will highlight practical pathways and real-world solutions that organisations are already implementing.
Importantly, the conference will also spotlight grassroots voices and community-led approaches, reinforcing the role of behaviour and local action in achieving long-term sustainability outcomes.
The event will conclude with the Climate Action and Sustainability Awards 2026, recognising organisations that are setting benchmarks through impactful and scalable initiatives across sectors.
As sustainability becomes central to India’s growth story, CASCA 2026 aims to enable dialogue, collaboration, and action that can truly power the country’s sustainable future.
