Edelweiss Alternatives and Japan’s JEXWAY Partner on Transport Infrastructure
Mumbai, October 08, 2026: Edelweiss Alternatives and Japan Expressway International Co., Ltd. (JEXWAY) have entered into an arrangement to exchange expertise and operational practices for the management of highway and transport infrastructure assets in India and Japan.
The arrangement has two components: JEXWAY’s investment in Citius TransNet Investment Trust (Citius TransNet), managed by EAAA TransInfra Managers Limited, and a technical collaboration between JEXWAY and Sekura India Management Limited (SEKURA), Edelweiss Alternatives’ infrastructure asset operating and management platform.
Under the collaboration, SEKURA and JEXWAY will facilitate a long-term, two-way exchange of technical solutions and operational practices. The partnership will combine JEXWAY’s experience in operating expressway networks with SEKURA’s capabilities in managing infrastructure assets in India.

Edelweiss Alternatives manages investments across eight verticals, including infrastructure yield, commercial office assets, special situations and performing credit. Its infrastructure portfolio includes 1.73 gigawatts of solar assets, 4,586 lane kilometres of roads, 3.10 million square feet of office space and 1,835 circuit kilometres of transmission lines. Its private credit business has managed 190 investments amounting to approximately ₹424 billion.
JEXWAY is backed by major Japanese expressway companies and has experience in developing, investing in and operating transport infrastructure, primarily across Southeast Asia. Its investments include public-private partnership projects in Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and India. The company also provides specialised highway asset management services through its affiliates.
The arrangement aims to facilitate the exchange of infrastructure management practices between the two markets as India continues to expand its highway and transport networks.
