Bengaluru, Mar 4, 2024: Boson Whitewater, a water utility company that converts STP treated water into high-quality potable water, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IAPMO (The International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials) India, a leading authority on plumbing, mechanical, and water quality. The MoU will focus on standardization and validation of recycled water produced by Boson Whitewater, facilitate workforce training and ensure equipment compliance for advanced water solutions.
The key objectives of the MoU include standardization of Boson Whitewater’s ‘Whitewater’ (recycled water), specialized skill training in water management for Boson Whitewater’s team, and standards compliance for equipment. Additionally, IAPMO India will also adopt Zero Liquid Discharge within its premises and ensure minimal water wastage through Boson Whitewater’s 11-step filtration process.

IAPMO, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is a nearly 100 years old multinational non-profit trade association headquartered in California. The organization is dedicated to public health and safety through various initiatives, including the development of standards, testing, and certification of plumbing products, sanitary wares, and water treatment products.
IAPMO India was established in 2008 with the same vision and mission as their US counterpart. As a global testing and certification body, IAPMO is particularly focused on testing and certification of plumbing & drinking water treatment products.
