Pune, December 23, 2025: Arya Omnitalk has announced the launch of AryaVan, its flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on agroforestry, ecological restoration, and rural community development. The long-term project aims to plant 100,000 trees over the coming years, with a dual focus on environmental sustainability and livelihood generation for farmers.
The initiative has been conceptualised under the leadership of Paresh Shetty and is designed to integrate sustainable farming practices, tree plantation, and ecosystem conservation with income opportunities for rural communities. AryaVan draws from the company’s broader philosophy of aligning technological progress with social and environmental responsibility.
Paresh Shetty said, “AryaVan is the green heart of Arya Omnitalk. It reflects our core values of innovation, responsibility, and nation-building. Just as our solutions help make communities safer, AryaVan extends that same spirit to protecting nature and empowering the people who live closest to it. For us, safety and sustainability are inseparable; a truly secure future must also be environmentally resilient and socially inclusive.”
The project was formally launched with an inaugural plantation of nearly 2,000 trees, implemented in partnership with local farmers, community members, and on-ground NGO partners. Plantation sites are being selected based on ecological suitability, with an emphasis on restoring soil health, improving water retention, and strengthening farm-based livelihoods.
Arya Omnitalk stated that AryaVan is designed as a sustained programme rather than a one-time CSR activity. Each sapling planted under the initiative will be monitored through its growth cycle, with farmers and community groups acting as long-term custodians. This approach is intended to ensure high survival rates, measurable environmental outcomes, and consistent rural income generation.
The company plans to scale the initiative by involving employees, customers, and partners through community plantation drives and adopt-a-tree models, creating broader participation in the programme.
AryaVan aligns with several national and global sustainability priorities, including climate action, responsible consumption, and sustainable communities. It also complements national initiatives such as the Green India Mission and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reflecting Arya Omnitalk’s commitment to environmentally responsible and inclusive growth.
