New Delhi, 16 February, 2026: Ambuja Cements, part of the diversified Adani Portfolio and one of the world’s leading building materials companies, organised an industrial exposure visit for trainees from its Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI), Ambujanagar, under Project Udaan. The initiative aimed to strengthen practical learning and enhance industry readiness among participants.

Trainees from the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), GDA (General Duty Assistant), and HAT (Hospital Assistant Technician) trades took part in the visit. The programme included guided tours of the Ambuja Cements Plant and the Thermal Power Plant at Ambujanagar, where trainees were introduced to key operational processes, safety protocols, and workplace systems followed in large-scale industrial facilities.

As part of the exposure, the trainees also visited BCT Muldwarka, gaining insights into industrial logistics and infrastructure management. Officials at each site explained operational workflows and addressed queries raised by the trainees, enabling a clearer understanding of day-to-day industrial practices.

The visit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom-based training and real-world industry exposure. By observing live operations and interacting with professionals, trainees were able to better contextualise their technical knowledge and understand workplace expectations.

Through initiatives such as Project Udaan, Ambuja Cements continues to focus on strengthening skill development and improving employability among youth. Industrial exposure visits form an important component of this approach, helping trainees build confidence, practical awareness, and preparedness for future employment opportunities.
