New Delhi, December 22, 2024: Tata Power hosted the National Urja Mela 2024, bringing together over 1,000 students and teachers from 150 schools across 10 states to focus on energy conservation and green innovation. Organised under Tata Power’s Club Enerji program, the event aligned with National Energy Conservation Day and aimed to engage youth in promoting sustainability and clean energy practices.
The event featured competitions, workshops, and cultural performances designed to encourage participants to adopt eco-friendly practices. A tribute to the late Shri Ratan Tata highlighted his contributions to sustainable development and reinforced Tata Power’s commitment to his vision.
Ms. Prachi Shevgaonkar, Sustainability Brand Ambassador for Tata Power, addressed the audience, urging students to take actionable steps against climate change. The event also included a showcase of eco-friendly products crafted by women artisans under Tata Power's CSR initiative, Anokha Dhaaga, emphasizing sustainable business practices and green entrepreneurship.
