Taipei (Taiwan), Aug 1, 2024: The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan Excellence, and the International Trade Administration (TITA) have launched an initiative that offers a platform for Indian entrepreneurs and organizations to tap into Taiwan’s expertise in green technology and create impactful projects.

The ‘Go Green with Taiwan’ initiative is a global campaign aimed at fostering partnerships for environmental and economic sustainability.

India’s burgeoning renewable energy sector, marked by a staggering 125% increase in investment over the past year, underscores the urgent need for innovative and scalable green energy solutions.

The ‘Go Green with Taiwan’ initiative offers a platform for Indian entrepreneurs and organizations to tap into Taiwan’s expertise in green technology and create impactful projects, according to a press release.

The campaign invites Indian innovators, entrepreneurs, and organizations to submit proposals that leverage Taiwan's green products and solutions to address pressing environmental challenges.

The initiative offers a lucrative prize pool of USD 20,000 for the top three proposals, along with a chance to visit Taiwan and explore potential collaborations. Two of the six proposal categories specifically focus on green energy: energy and storage, and energy saving.

With a specific focus on energy and storage, and energy-saving solutions, the campaign seeks to catalyze sustainable projects that align with India’s green energy goals. Taiwan’s External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will provide comprehensive support to winning proposals, facilitating collaborations with Taiwanese businesses, research institutions, and government agencies.
