Lucknow, January 14, 2026: Samsung marked National Youth Day by certifying 1,750 students in Uttar Pradesh under its flagship Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), reinforcing its focus on building industry-ready talent in emerging technologies.
The certification ceremony was held at the City Group of Institutions in Lucknow in the presence of Rajni Tiwari, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, along with academic leaders and programme partners.
With the latest cohort, the total number of students trained under Samsung Innovation Campus in Uttar Pradesh has reached 3,900, positioning the state as one of the fastest-growing regions under the programme. Samsung has announced its intent to train 5,000 youth in Uttar Pradesh as part of its broader national target of skilling 20,000 students in 2025, a six-fold expansion compared to the previous year. The programme is currently active across 10 states.
Under the Lucknow initiative, students received hands-on, industry-aligned training across key future-tech domains. This included Artificial Intelligence for 950 students, Coding and Programming for 550 students, Big Data for 150 students, and Internet of Things (IoT) for 100 students. In addition to technical learning, the programme integrates soft-skills training and placement support to enhance workplace readiness.

Launched in India in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus focuses on expanding access to future-tech education, particularly in underserved and semi-urban regions. The programme is implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) through accredited training partners.
At the national level, the initiative has recorded 44% participation by women, reflecting Samsung’s emphasis on inclusive and equitable skilling. Alongside other initiatives such as Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung DOST, Samsung Innovation Campus underscores the company’s long-term commitment to supporting India’s digital skilling and employability goals.
