Mumbai, Nov 14, 2024: In a step towards supporting the education and empowerment of young girls from under-served backgrounds, Max Life Insurance Company in collaboration with Yes Bank organized the “Joy of Giving” initiative to provide bicycles to government school girls.

This initiative aims to empower these young girls with the means to commute easily from home to school, promoting independence and accessibility to education, and enabling them to build a sharper, brighter future. Held at BMC School in Santa Cruz, Mumbai, the event underscores Max Life’s commitment to enhancing mobility and educational access for young girls through easy transportation.

By providing these bicycles, Max Life Insurance and Yes Bank aim to promote gender equality, improve access to education, and empower the next generation of women leaders. The bicycles are a significant support for young girls facing challenges related to distance, offering them greater access to education and opportunities.

The event was attended by senior leaders from both organizations, including, Sanjiv Kumar Roy, Country Head - Fee-Based Products and Service Experience, Yes Bank; and Anurag Gupta, EVP & Head - Direct Sales Force & Yes Bank Partnership, Max Life Insurance.
