Thrissur, February 6, 2025: Kalyan Jewellers has launched Crafting Futures, a CSR initiative aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of jewellery artisans, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and supporting community development. The company has committed ₹3 crore to the initiative to ensure a meaningful and lasting impact.
The program seeks to bridge tradition with innovation by improving artisans’ workspaces, introducing technology, and providing upskilling opportunities. It also includes support for artisans’ children’s education, healthcare benefits, and initiatives for long-term financial stability.
TS Kalyanaraman, Managing Director of Kalyan Jewellers, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “Jewellery is not just about gold and gemstones—it carries the soul and artistry of the karigars who bring each piece to life.
