New Delhi, January 12, 2026: Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, in collaboration with Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, has marked three years of its CSR-led skill development initiative JFARM—Jubilant FoodWorks Academy for Restaurant Operations & Management—enabling employment pathways for more than 5,000 young people across India’s Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector.

Launched in 2023, the JFARM programme focuses on equipping youth with industry-ready skills through a structured five-week training model that blends classroom learning, practical exposure, on-the-job training and placement support. The initiative is open to candidates with a minimum qualification of Class 10, creating accessible entry points for youth from underserved communities.

Over the past three years, the programme has been implemented across 12 states, with a special focus on the North-East and Tier-2 cities. It has consistently achieved placement outcomes of over 70% per batch, with a significant proportion of alumni continuing to work within the QSR sector—underscoring the programme’s emphasis on sustainable livelihoods rather than short-term placements. Today, more than 70% of JFARM alumni are employed with QSR organisations nationwide.

To mark the milestone, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation brought together several programme alumni to share their journeys and inspire others to pursue skill-led career pathways in the hospitality and food services industry.

Rahul Bharde, Chief Analytics Officer, Senior Vice President – Analytics & Innovation and CSR, Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, said:
“When skill development is approached with long-term intent, it creates systems that endure. Over the years, our focus has been on building practical, industry-linked models that others can learn from—where training, employability and continuity come together to deliver real outcomes for young people entering the workforce.”

Vivek Prakash, SVP & Head, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, added: “It fills us with immense pride to witness the young professionals trained through our programme securing promising careers with QSR brands across the country. Our recent felicitation ceremony celebrated these alumni—not just for their achievements, but for the powerful stories of resilience and success they carry. By sharing their journeys, they become catalysts of change, inspiring countless others to dream bigger and pursue brighter futures.”

Training centres under the JFARM programme are strategically located near operational hubs, supporting smoother transitions from training to employment and improving workforce retention. The initiative aligns with national priorities on youth employability and workforce readiness, highlighting the role of industry-linked skilling in inclusive economic participation.

Through JFARM and similar initiatives, Jubilant Bhartia Foundation continues to focus on upskilling and community capacity-building, responding to evolving workforce needs while aligning closely with industry requirements.
