Mumbai, July 22, 2024: As many as 52 women from rural Maharashtra were trained in business, communication and leadership skills under a project jointly run by IndoSpace, developer and manager of Grade A industrial real estate, and Magic Bus India Foundation.

The first cohort of 52 women, selected from areas around Chakan and Khopoli where Indospace operates two large logistic parks, graduated from the Young Women Fellowship Programme (YWFP).

The Young Women Fellowship Programme at IndoSpace aims to equip every woman from the selected cohort with life skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to become self-reliant and change agents for their communities.

This comprehensive programme was marked by a rigorous candidate screening, identification and enrolment process. It included extensive training modules, exposure visits, personality enhancement, business acumen skills workshop and mentoring sessions. Participants engaged in practical tasks, and the programme culminated with implementation of several community leadership projects and new business set ups.
