Bengaluru, Aug 8, 2024: A national summit hosted by eVidyaloka, a non-profit organization, brought together experts and stakeholders in Bengaluru to explore ways to strengthen partnerships and enhance educational opportunities for underserved communities, with a focus on improving learning outcomes.

eVidyaloka, which works towards enhancing education for children in rural India, concluded its annual National Partner Summit, ROSHNI 2024, in Bengaluru earlier this week. The two-day event united over 56 field coordinators and representatives from more than 40 partner NGOs from 14 states to celebrate their invaluable contributions and reinforce their collective mission.

ROSHNI 2024, themed “Celebrating the Champions of Change”, provided a crucial platform for sharing best practices, strengthening alliances, and fostering collaboration to further enhance educational outcomes for underserved communities.

The keynote address by Mangesh Wange, CEO of Swades Foundation, emphasized the critical role of community ownership in driving sustainable development. His discussion on the ‘4E’ formula – Engage, Empower, Execute, and Exit – offered valuable insights into achieving comprehensive community transformation.

The event also featured a workshop led by leadership coach Vinay Patil, Founder of Skillfix, who shared practical strategies on effective leadership and team building. Attendees exchanged stories of exemplary students achieving excellence and community transformations from their field locations that highlighted the positive impact of eVidyaloka’s programs on rural children. The summit’s engaging discussions covered key topics such as community empowerment for sustainability, nurturing community leaders, technology integration, and risk mitigation.

Brinda Poornapragna, CEO of eVidyaloka, remarked, "ROSHNI 2024 underscored the remarkable strength of partnerships and community engagement in advancing education for rural children. We are immensely proud to honour our dedicated partners and field coordinators, whose unwavering commitment is central to our mission of delivering quality education across rural India."

The summit also celebrated four NGO partners who completed a decade of collaboration with eVidyaloka and recognized 10 exemplary field coordinators for their five years of dedicated service, acknowledging their pivotal role in driving educational change.
