Darshana Singal Foundation Equips Women With Essential Skills For Employment 

New Delhi, Jan 16, 2025: The Darshana Singal Foundation (DSF), the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Eastman Auto & Power Ltd, announced  the graduation of additional 38 women from its Chhatarpur Centre who have successfully completed the KALA SE KAAM TAK program, an initiative dedicated towards empowering women coming from marginalized backgrounds by providing them with vocational training and skill development opportunities enabling them to pursue a career in the beauty industry.

Beyond beauty training, the women are also trained for self-defence classes. These classes are designed to ensure the safety of the women in both their personal and professional lives. The program reflects DSF’s commitment to fostering both professional and personal growth for these women, giving them the tools to achieve independence and success in the beauty sector.

Meenakshi Jain, Program Director of the Darshana Singal Foundation, stated, “Empowering women with self-defense skills is essential to protect them from potential threats. Our programs, including KALA SE KAAM TAK, not only teach practical techniques but also build confidence and resilience. Every woman deserves to feel safe and thrive without fear.”
