New Delhi, February 21, 2025: The Adani Foundation has introduced the ‘Butterfly Effect’ framework, a new initiative aimed at supporting women through various stages of life. The framework was unveiled during a national-level roundtable consultation on February 19, 2025, in New Delhi, where stakeholders discussed strategies to enhance women's empowerment across India.
The roundtable focused on identifying ways to expand the reach and impact of women-centric interventions and explore collaborations to support socio-economic empowerment nationwide. The Adani Foundation, which has been working on women's empowerment since 1996, implements programs addressing education, nutrition, health, and skill-building to promote self-reliance and economic independence among women.
The ‘Butterfly Effect’ framework is designed to provide continuous support to women at different life stages, from infancy to old age, by fostering education, livelihood opportunities, and access to essential services. The Foundation also released the ‘Supporting Her Exponential Empowerment (S.H.E.)’ Report during the event, highlighting its initiatives and impact on women across the country.
Dr. Abhishek Lakhtakia, Chief Executive Officer of the Adani Foundation, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, “Our interventions are designed to ensure equitable access to opportunities, promoting growth, well-being, and empowerment at each phase of a woman’s journey. This inaugural roundtable discussion will surely be a steppingstone to further the cause of women empowerment and help expedite outcomes.”
The Foundation has reportedly impacted over two million girls and women through its various programs. The newly launched framework aims to build on this progress, driving inclusive and sustainable change in women's lives.
