Adani Foundation and ACC Empower 50 Women in Varanasi with KPO Skills

New Delhi, December 23: The Adani Foundation, in partnership with ACC, a cement and building material company of the Adani Portfolio, has empowered 50 women in rural Varanasi through its Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) at ACC Salai Banwa. The initiative recently placed 50 trained women at Indivillage, a knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) enterprise.

The ASDC's training programs focus on providing women with technical, communication, and industry-specific skills necessary for roles in data processing, market analytics, and customer support. The program aims to promote sustainable growth and create opportunities for women in the digital economy.

Sandhya Verma, from a farming family in Seva Puri, Varanasi, is among the beneficiaries. After completing ASDC’s KPO training, she secured a job at Indivillage. “Getting a job in Varanasi has been life-changing. This Diwali, I gifted my parents new clothes and contributed to the family celebrations, bringing joy to us all,” she shared.
