New Delhi, November 3, 2023: YKK Holding Asia Pte. Ltd. (YHA) in partnership with YKK India Private Limited announced the fourth edition of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, YKK ASAO Kids Football Clinic (YKK AKFC) in India. The event, conducted in collaboration with the Real Madrid Foundation (RMF), is a three-day clinic taking place from November 2nd to 5th at the Kicksal Arena football facility in New Delhi. In a change from previous editions, the official press conference was held at the clinic venue in a more intimate pitch-side format.

Mr. Andres Muntaner Borrajo, Area Manager (Camps & Clinics) for Real Madrid Foundation, graced the conference as a VIP panelist, representing RMF. The YKK delegation included Mr. Kosuke Miimi, President of YKK Holding Asia Pte. Ltd. (YHA), Mr. Reisuke Aratani, Managing Director of YKK India Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Naresh Kaushik, Vice Factory Manager of YKK India Pvt. Ltd.

This edition of the clinic will provide just under 300 children from orphanages and underprivileged homes, along with over 30 local Indian coaches, an opportunity to enhance their football skills under the guidance of professional coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation: Mr. Carlos Gustavo Albert Garcia, Ms. Maria Bores Vazquez, and Mr. Víctor López Pacheco. Football Delhi (Delhi Soccer Association) and their team of skilled Indian coaches will support the event closely, sharing the club's training methodology and techniques. Each participant will receive a full set of YKK/Real Madrid Foundation kit, football boots, a certificate, a participation medal, and RMF souvenirs.

For over a decade, the Real Madrid Foundation's coaching team has been collaborating with YKK AKFC, bringing world-class techniques to children worldwide who share a passion for football. Despite regional dialects and cultural differences, they believe football is a global language that brings smiles to children's faces.

As part of the YKK ASAO REGION CSR program, YKK will donate all footballs and training equipment to participating non-profit organizations and schools after the event, encouraging passionate children to pursue their dreams.

Sharing his thoughts on this, Mr. Kosuke Miimi - President of YHA commented "This is an integral program that not only values the children, but the community at large. This event gives opportunities to those who normally have a lesser chance at sports and brings the community together to celebrate the love of football.”

The YKK AKFC CSR program began in 2007, benefiting underprivileged children in numerous countries. To date, over 7,000 underprivileged children have had the unique opportunity to interact with the renowned Spanish football coaches of the Real Madrid Foundation.
