Novotel New Delhi Aerocity introduces EV charging station; Commits to eliminate single-use plastic by 2050

New Delhi, January 31, 2024: Taking a green step towards providing sustainable solutions, Aerocity based hotel Novotel has introduced an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station within its premises in collaboration with Charge Zone.

"We are happy to announce the launch of the EV charging station at Novotel New Delhi Aerocity. It not only symbolizes our dedication but also provides a practical solution for our discerning guests who increasingly prioritize eco-friendly options," said Vineet Mishra, Cluster General Manager, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity. He added that the new step aligns with the hotel's broader vision of incorporating eco-friendly practices into its operations.

Situated near the porch, the EV charging station at Novotel New Delhi Aerocity will offers the charging facility for its guests staying at both Novotel and Pullman. The new EV station is among the various eco-friendly initiatives taken by the hotel within its premises.

Within its array of sustainable initiatives, the property boasts a 5500-square-foot herb garden dedicated to organic farming– an operational glass bottling plant. According to hotel officials, the hotel is also committed to reduce single-use plastics in the hotel, aligning with brand-wide initiatives to eliminate single-use plastic by 2050. The hotel has substituted in-room amenities, plastic straws, and stirrers with sustainable alternatives.

Novotel New Delhi Aerocity boasts of 400 rooms along various other capacities including large-scale conference halls.
