New Delhi, December 05, 2023: Metropolis Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Metropolis Healthcare, has initiated the 6th edition of the 'MedEngage Scholarship Program 2023-24’. The program, designed to provide scholarships and research grants, is set to benefit 280 medical students, encompassing both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across all years of MBBS education.
In alignment with the dynamic needs of the current times, Metropolis Foundation has introduced MedEngage 2.0, elevating the program to a more advanced format. This iteration expands its reach to include all years of medical students, reaffirming the commitment to awarding scholarships to 280 students in the current academic year.
Initiated by Metropolis Chairman Dr. Sushil Shah, the MedEngage Scholarship Program stands as a comprehensive medical outreach initiative, nurturing young medical talent in India. Over the past five years, the program has recognized and supported 250 students from over 150 medical colleges in FY 22-23, providing financial assistance, laboratory support, and avenues for academic research excellence.
MedEngage 2.0 goes beyond scholarships, offering an inclusive package that includes Observership Programs, Academic Research Support, Laboratory Tours, Internships, and MedTalk webinars. The program has reached over 500 institutes since its inception, with more than 5000 students registering for scholarships and other benefits. The application portal is open from December 1st, 2023, to January 15, 2024.

Deloitte serves as the process partner for the MedEngage Scholarship Program, ensuring a fair evaluation process with a jury comprising members from the healthcare fraternity and external bodies. The announcement of winners is scheduled for February 2024, followed by a felicitation ceremony in March 2024.
