Tauru, Haryana, June 05, 2023. On the occasion of World Environment Day, the M3M Foundation, in collaboration with the residents of Jaurasi village in Tauru block, Nuh district, initiated a plantation drive calling for community action and collective responsibility. As part of this initiative, a resolution was taken by M3M Foundation to plant 1.5 lakh environmentally friendly plants in the district.
The community united under the "Sankalp Yatra" program, pledging their commitment to nurturing the newly planted saplings. The formal announcement of this initiative was made by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, SDM of Tauru block, during a ceremony held at the Government Senior Secondary School in Jaurasi village.
The event witnessed the presence of key figures, including members of the M3M Foundation, residents of Jaurasi village, the sarpanch, and high-ranking officials from the area. Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan, President of the M3M Foundation, welcomed the chief guest, Shree Sanjeev Kumar (SDM, Tauru), and the guest of honour, Mr. Hasan Mohd, Block Panchayat Chairperson of Tauru.
Also in attendance were Mr. Pradeep Deswal, Tehsildar of Tauru, Ms. Meera, CDPO of Tauru, and Mr. Anju Dhariwal, Sarpanch of Jaurasi.
In his address to the gathering, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar expressed his gratitude to the M3M Foundation for their initiative in promoting a greener future. Encouraging the residents of Jaurasi village, he emphasized the significance of their collective efforts in creating a clean and sustainable environment. He highlighted that every act of care and responsibility plays a vital role in cultivating a thriving ecosystem, where the air is pure, the land is revered, and harmony with nature is cherished.
