India Accelerator And Fulcrum Join Hands To Integrate Startups To Solve Social Problems Through CSR Ecosystem

New Delhi, Sep 8, 2024: India Accelerator, a startup accelerator, has  partnered with Fulcrum-Capitalising CSR to drive significant social impact through innovative collaborations. This strategic alliance aims to harness the power of startups and the CSR ecosystem to address pressing social problems by providing NGOs with access to cutting-edge technologies.

The initiative, designed to integrate startups with NGOs and CSR ecosystem, will leverage advanced technological solutions to tackle a range of social challenges. By utilising the resources and support offered through CSR programs, this partnership promises to create a transformative impact on communities across India.

In last five years, Corporate CSR have invested around Rs 1.27 Lakh Crore in social development. Out of this large spent, Startup and Startup incubators have received only around Rs 160 Crore. There is an immense potential to solve social and national issues by integrating the ground work of NGOs and technological solutions of Startups.
     
Munish Bhatia, co-founder of India Accelerator, said: “By integrating startups into the CSR ecosystem, the impact and scale can be significantly larger in a shorter amount of time, which will be a game changer for a developing country like India."

The MoU will help the entire CSR and Social ecosystem as it will expedite resolution of social issues by integrating technology. Various roundtables with NGOs, Startups and CSR heads will be organized in next 20 months. Tackling climate change, environment restoration, doubling farmer’s income, access to healthcare will be major areas of intervention under this collaboration.
