Chennai, October 6, 2023: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB), a prominent FMCG company in India, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu, as part of the Naan Mudhalvan scheme. This collaboration aims to provide sales & marketing training to 5,000 individuals. The strategic partnership, in coordination with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), will span one year.
The signing ceremony, held in Chennai, was attended by Shri Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hon’ble Minister for Youth Welfare, Sports Development & Special Programme Implementation, Shri Ma. Subramanian, Hon’ble Minister for Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, J. Innocent Divya, IAS Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, and Shri Darez Ahamed, Secretary – Special Programme Implementation Department, Tamil Nadu.The program's participants will encompass a diverse group, including recent graduates, current college students, and individuals aged 18 and above who have discontinued their college education. The three-month program will entail a comprehensive 30-hour curriculum, offering an intensive learning experience. This will include six hours of in-person interactions and 24 hours of engaging online sessions.

HCCBPL will serve as the primary liaison for TNSDC, overseeing orientation and awareness sessions, ensuring the electronic distribution of program materials, and conducting both face-to-face and online training sessions. The company will also facilitate interactions with industry experts, provide online platforms, conduct assessments, and link learners with local industries and entrepreneurial opportunities at no cost to the participants. Meanwhile, TNSDC will acquaint learners with HCCB and its programs, assist in orientation sessions, provide necessary infrastructure like computer labs and classrooms, monitor program attendance, and aid in assessments.
