Ludhiana (Punjab), March 13, 2023: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and a Fortune Global 500 Company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Memorial Centre to provide CSR aid to Homi Baba Cancer Hospital, Sangrur and Homi Baba Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Mullanpur a unit of Tata Memorial Centre in Punjab.
As part of the MoU, BPCL will be funding and investing INR 1.85 crore towards the hospitals to procure hi-tech surgical equipment to enable advance cancer treatments at low costs for underprivileged population. This will enable cancer patients to avail high end reconstructive surgeries and improve their quality of life.
The MoU was signed at an event in Ludhiana in the presence of Mr Sukhmal Jain, Director Marketing of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Doctors of Homi Baba Cancer Research Hospital. The two sides also discussed their common vision of energizing lives which can be leveraged by petroleum business and healthcare together.
