Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), February 12, 2024: Avaada Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Avaada Group, has inaugurated a Community Development Centre in Nagepur, Varanasi, as part of its efforts to uplift communities through education and skill development initiatives.
On the occasion, Vineet Mittal, Chairman, Avaada Group, emphasized the importance of education and skill-building in driving sustainable development, stating, "The inauguration of the Community Development Centre in Nagepur reaffirms our commitment to empowering youth and fostering inclusive growth in communities across India."
The centre offers a range of programs aimed at empowering students through education, skill-building, and mentorship. The programs include digital literacy sessions covering computer skills and coding, academic coaching for students in grades 9 to 12, and various workshops on career guidance, entrepreneurship, and cyber security. Additionally, it also maintains a gender balance with a 60:40 ratio and features state-of-the-art computer facilities.
Avaada Foundation's initiatives in Jayapur village, near Nagepur, include refurbishing classrooms, providing digital resources, and offering coaching classes and workshops.
Beyond education, the foundation focuses on community upliftment through scholarships, competitive exam coaching, and vocational training centers for women's economic empowerment.
During the inauguration event, Avaada Foundation announced a pan-India scholarship program to provide financial assistance to deserving students nationwide, advancing its mission of making quality education accessible to all.
