Mumbai, September 20, 2023. Allcargo Group, an Indian born global logistics conglomerate, collaborated with Maharashtra Forest Department supported NGO partner Swachha Vasundhara Foundation on International Coastal Cleanup Day. Over 1,000 volunteers took part in this initiative which included students from 18 colleges, NGOs as well as Navy personnel and NCC Cadets. The main activities carried out on this day were cleaning up mangroves and beach at Carter Road along with contributing towards restoring an area of 2.5 acres that hosts vital mangroves.

I applaud,the efforts of Swachha Vasundhara Abhiyaan and Allcargo Group in this initiative and anticipate that as people become more aware of the environment, such cleanup initiatives will no longer be required.’’
