Mumbai, July 14, 2025: Worldline India has released its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report for FY 2024–25, titled “Beyond Payments: Our Social Footprint,” highlighting its commitment to building a sustainable and inclusive society through grassroots-led initiatives.
The report outlines the company’s contributions across four focus areas—Water Conservation and Rural Development, Disability Inclusion, Child Welfare and Education, and Employee Volunteering. With projects implemented across Maharashtra, Odisha, and Karnataka, the initiatives were driven through strategic partnerships with NGOs and active involvement from Worldline employees.
Key highlights from the report include:
- Water Conservation: The company desilted 37 water bodies in Maharashtra, creating 400 million litres of water storage. This effort directly benefitted over 500 farmers by enabling the cultivation of second crops and reducing rural migration.
- Disability Inclusion: In partnership with EnAble India, Worldline established a Disability Inclusion Centre in Bengaluru. The centre equips visually impaired individuals with assistive technology and job-readiness skills.
- Child Welfare: Through its collaboration with Catalysts for Social Action (CSA), Worldline supported 316 institutionalized children in Odisha and Pune under the Adopt a Home and After Care programmes. These children received health, hygiene, education, and life skills training to support independent living.
- Employee Volunteering: More than 150 Worldline employees contributed over 2,000 volunteering hours through mentoring sessions, exposure visits, and community engagement activities.
“This year’s report reflects not just our purpose-led vision, but the power of community partnerships and employee-driven impact. At Worldline, we believe our mission goes far beyond digital payments — it's about transforming lives and enabling long-term change,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, Chief Executive Officer – Worldline India.
The company’s partnerships with organizations such as Indivish Welfare Foundation, EnAble India, and CSA were instrumental in driving the impact. These collaborations supported initiatives like Project Jal Sanjeevani for water body revival, Parivartan and Manomaya for disability inclusion, and care ecosystem development for children.
Worldline’s CSR efforts align with its broader goal of embedding sustainability and empathy into its operations. The report illustrates how structured and scalable social programmes are integral to the company’s growth strategy and community engagement model.
