Sabyasachi Donates ₹25 Lakhs to Support Street Children at 'We The Women' Event

Mumbai, November 24th, 2024: Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee announced a donation of ₹25 lakhs at the We The Women festival, curated by journalist Barkha Dutt. The donation will benefit the NGO Innovation for Change and support the families of street children from Lucknow who participated in the event.

The children, whose parents are daily wage workers and street vendors, had gained attention after their fashion shoot inspired by Sabyasachi’s designs went viral. As part of the festival, they were flown to Mumbai to walk the ramp, marking their first-ever airplane journey.

Their performance at the event received widespread applause, culminating in Sabyasachi’s announcement of the financial contribution.
