India, with its substantial adolescent and youth population, will maintain one of the world's youngest demographics until 2030, as projected by the UNFPA. As the country's youth enters the workforce, the economic implications of mental health issues can't be ignored. It's estimated that between 2012 and 2030, these issues will cost India an astounding USD 1.03 trillion. The weight of work-related pressures, emerging challenges, and increasing responsibilities places significant burdens, especially on young employees. The relentless pressure to perform, combined with a lack of work-life balance, takes a toll on their well-being.

In addition, the Mpower Mental Health and Wellness Quotient at Workplace 2023 survey, a comprehensive study aimed at understanding mental health challenges faced by employees in various Indian industries, revealed that over 48% of corporate employees are 'at risk' of poor mental health, with a higher prevalence among female employees at 56%. Over 50% of those surveyed strongly agreed that stress significantly affects their work productivity.

Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Neerja Birla, Founder & Chairperson, Mpower (An initiative of Aditya Birla Education Trust) said, “In corporate settings, mental health often lacks the attention and investment it deserves.
