Mumbai, September 28, 2023. Fortis Healthcare has launched an initiative to equip 10 civic-run schools in Mumbai with 'Smart Classroom' setups, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and improving students' learning outcomes. The first smart classroom, located at Pandurang Vidyalay Mulund, was inaugurated today, generating enthusiasm among students, teachers, and Fortis representatives.
Talking about the initiative, Mr Manu Kapila, Head-Corporate Affairs, CSR and Asset Protection, Fortis Healthcare, said, “The implementation of Smart Classrooms and the integration of exploratory learning methodologies will better facilitate students' learning process, while simultaneously enhancing their creativity and problem-solving capabilities. Recognizing the potential of advanced learning tools to elevate the educational experience of school children, Fortis Healthcare has established Smart Classrooms at various schools in Mulund, Navi Mumbai, and Thane. These classrooms are thoughtfully designed to engage students in the learning process effectively. Each Smart Classroom is equipped with a Smartboard, Technical Toolkit, Large Screen Display Device, CPU, Speakers, and Whiteboard.
