New Delhi, March 15, 2024: Online travel tech platform EaseMyTrip.com has collaborated with the central government to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the upkeep, maintenance, and visitor experience enhancement of four prominent monuments in India.
These monuments are the Qutub Minar in Delhi, the Sun Temple in Konark, Odisha, Agra Fort in Agra, and the Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.
In this effect, EaseMyTrip Foundation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EaseMyTrip.com, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), becoming the steward of the four historical monuments as part of the government’s Adopt a Heritage 2.0 programme.

As a Smarak Sarathi, EaseMyTrip Foundation will collaborate with the government to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the upkeep, maintenance, and visitor experience enhancement of these monuments. This includes infrastructure upgrades, on-site amenities, and educational initiatives to raise awareness about the significance of these heritage sites.
By leveraging their expertise in travel technology and visitor engagement, the company aspires to contribute to the economic development of the regions surrounding these monuments.
Expressing his delight and support for the partnership, Dr Sanjay Kumar Munjal, Additional Director General, Archeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, stated, "The Adopt a Heritage project is a visionary endeavor to protect and enhance India's cultural treasures.
