DroneAcharya and Tata STRIVE launch drone pilot training for the underprivileged

New Delhi, October 10, 2023: DroneAcharya, in partnership with Tata STRIVE, has initiated drone pilot training, offering a solution to bridge the skill gap and create opportunities for underprivileged individuals. This strategic collaboration aims to provide specialized training in the burgeoning drone industry, equipping candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to secure better livelihoods and establish promising careers. As drones continue to revolutionize various sectors, this initiative ensures that individuals from all backgrounds can benefit from the technological advancements in the drone industry.

In recent years, the drone industry has experienced exponential growth, revolutionizing sectors such as agriculture, construction, logistics, and healthcare. Drones have evolved from remote-controlled toys into indispensable tools for data collection, monitoring, and automation across a wide array of applications. This growth trajectory is set to continue, presenting numerous job opportunities for skilled drone professionals.

The Training Program

The core component of this partnership is the comprehensive training program, encompassing DGCA certified drone pilot training and job placement assistance. The inaugural batch will comprise 20 individuals with diverse backgrounds, and plans are in place to scale up the initiative, allowing individuals with any Indian Government-issued ID and address proof document to enroll.

"Candidates will receive hands-on training in drone piloting, maintenance, data analysis, and adherence to regulatory standards. Additionally, they will gain insights into the diverse applications of drones in fields like agriculture, surveying, disaster management, and more," explains Amit Takte, Chief Technology Officer at DroneAcharya.
