Chennai, November 27, 2023: CtrlS Datacenters Ltd, a Rated-4 datacenter service provider, has pledged Rs 2 Crore to Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur, Chennai, for infrastructure improvement projects. An agreement has been established between CtrlS Datacenters and the Zoo authorities to utilize the funds over the next two years for maintenance and improvement activities, including constructing water channels and laying roads.
Arignar Anna Zoological Park, known as the Vandalur Zoo, spans 602 hectares, housing 2,553 animals from 234 species. With an annual footfall of 20 million visitors, the zoo's mission is to conserve wild animals, particularly threatened and rare species from the Western and Eastern Ghats. The funds from CtrlS Datacenters aim to contribute to the zoo's ongoing conservation efforts and enhance its infrastructure.
