Brillio Launches STEM Education, Swachh and Swasth School Project in Jaipur

Jaipur, July 31, 2023. Brillio, a leading digital transformation services and solutions provider, today announced the launch of aninitiativeaimed at improving infrastructure and providing quality education to children studying in government schools in Jaipur.

Called STEM Education, Swachh and Swasth School Project (SSSP), the initiative has started with three schools in Jaipur ─ RajakiyaUchha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Rajakiya Balika Madhyamik Vidyalaya (both in Shivdaspura, Chaksu Block), and SJBM Government English Medium School (Achrol) ─ and will benefit more than 1,000 students.

As part of the SSSP initiative, Brillio has invested in refurbishing school infrastructure, ensuring access to clean drinking water, and improving sanitation. It has also provided technology resources and established dedicated STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) labs in classrooms. Brillio has also introduced higher education scholarships to support students’ aspirations. The initiative, which will be expanded to schools in other parts of the state, is aligned with Brillio’s commitment to driving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its sustainability practices.

This initiative forms a part of Brillio’s “Bringing Smiles” programme, which aims to make a difference to 10 lakh underserved students worldwide by 2030. Launched in 2015, the programme has already made a positive impact on more than 1 lakh students across more than 800 schools in different countries.It combines financial help from Brillio, with the volunteering efforts of the company’s nearly 6,000 employees to support students through partnerships with schools and non-profit organisations. In India, theprogramme focuseson preparing children aged 10 to 16 for the digital-first, entrepreneurial, and disruptive world they will face. In the U.S., it is focused on mental wellness initiatives.
