New Delhi, July 28, 2025: VT Markets has launched a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across Asia, leveraging its partnership with Premier League club Newcastle United to support youth and communities through football.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the global financial services provider has committed to donating 1,000 Newcastle United-branded footballs to schools across Southeast Asia. This initiative aims to deepen VT Markets’ presence in the region while encouraging young people to engage in sports and build life skills through football.
As part of the partnership, VT Markets has also contributed £20,000 to the Newcastle United Foundation, marking the club’s recent Carabao Cup win and qualification for the UEFA Champions League. The foundation supports community, education, health, and sports programmes that harness football's unifying power.
Speaking about the initiative, Dan Burn, Newcastle United player and ambassador for the club’s foundation, said, “Our fans are the soul of this club, wherever we go in the world. The support we’ve felt from everyone in Singapore has been unbelievable and that’s a big reason why projects like this mean so much. As players, football has helped to transform our lives so it’s really special to see VT Markets use their position to support young people and give back to these amazing communities – both in Newcastle and across Asia.”
The initiatives were unveiled at a client engagement event in Singapore, where Newcastle United first-team players, including Sandro Tonali, Jacob Murphy, William Osula, and Dan Burn, interacted with fans. Club legend Shola Ameobi also joined the event, which coincided with the team’s appearance at the Singapore Festival of Football.
Dandelyn Koh, Global Brand and PR Lead at VT Markets, stated, “At VT Markets, we believe that true growth goes beyond numbers. Through our CSR initiatives, we aim to inspire, empower, and contribute meaningfully to the region’s development, laying the foundation for long-term opportunity and success. Our partnership with Newcastle United is about driving positive change both on and off the field, and we look forward to deepening our impact as we continue this exciting journey in Asia together.”
VT Markets has marked a milestone year, not only through community outreach but also by celebrating its first year as the Official Financial Trading Partner of Newcastle United. The club recently ended a 70-year wait for a domestic trophy and secured a place in the UEFA Champions League, underscoring a historic season for both organizations.
Looking ahead, VT Markets plans to expand its CSR efforts into Latin America, reinforcing its global commitment to social impact through strategic partnerships.
