Mumbai, Mar 8, 2025: Tata Capital, the flagship financial services arm of the Tata Group, has announced the continuation of its Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Program for the academic year 2025. The program has empowered students from economically weaker sections, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations. As of January 2025, the Pankh Scholarship has benefited over 21,000 youth, with the number expected to cross 25,000 by the end of the financial year.
This year, Tata Capital has introduced an exclusive chapter of the Pankh Scholarship, which focuses on supporting youth from marginalized backgrounds pursuing focused degrees in areas such as medicine, aerospace engineering, quantum physics, architecture, and various specialized sciences. This exclusive chapter aims to create a talent pool of extraordinary individuals contributing to the nation and the world through their expertise in science and the humanities.
Tata Capital's Pankh Scholarship program demonstrates its commitment to affirmative action, with a special emphasis on empowering underprivileged communities. Eligible students can receive scholarships covering up to 80% of tuition fees or monetary grants ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000, based on their course of study and financial need. Tata Capital’s employees actively contribute to the program by mentoring and guiding students to succeed in their chosen fields.
