The newly certified group includes 150 students trained in Coding & Programming and 400 students in Artificial Intelligence. Samsung’s target is to skill 20,000 young people nationally in 2025, with Uttar Pradesh alone expected to train 5,000 youth through SIC.

Samsung Innovation Campus, active across 10 states, aligns with the Skill India and Digital India missions. The programme emphasises emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, Big Data, and Coding & Programming, and integrates soft skills and placement support through ESSCI. With 44% women participation, the initiative also aims to broaden access to technical skills for students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
The company said Uttar Pradesh’s strong participation demonstrates the state’s role in advancing India’s digital workforce and contributing to national technology-led growth.
Alongside SIC, Samsung’s DOST (Digital & Offline Skills Training) programme continues to support youth with retail and frontline employability skills, strengthening pathways for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
