Rishihood University Launches Certification Program on Leadership & Practice in Lactation and Breastfeeding

Sonipat (Haryana), 9 February 2024: Rishihood University has recently launched the Global Certification Program on Leadership & Practice in Lactation and Breastfeeding (GCPLPLB). The program is designed for executives and professionals with a focus on creating global leadership and clinical practice in this critical domain.

The launch event was held recently with Shri Suresh Prabhu Ji, Chancellor of Rishihood University, gracing the event as the chief guest. Several eminent medical professionals and industry leaders also joined hands, committing to advancing lactation awareness globally.

For the program, Rishihood has collaborated with Sushena Health Foundation (a social services organization) and Dhaatri Milk Bank, making it the only program-of-its-kind in the country that brings together expertise of pioneers in this space. According to the officials, the collaboration will address critical healthcare needs, and promote social welfare, which often gets overlooked due to lack of lactation and breastfeeding awareness.

Speaking about the initiative, Shri Suresh Prabhu said, “The Global Lactation Leadership Program is a pivotal step towards creating a global impact in lactation awareness. Despite it being one of the most important biological processes for both a mother and child, there is shockingly little awareness about breastfeeding and lactation — both among men and women. This initiative is a step in the right direction to bridge that gap and Rishihood University is honored to be at the forefront of this initiative.”
