India, June 27, 2025: Edtech company PhysicsWallah (PW) has entered into a partnership with CSC Academy (CSCA), a not-for-profit arm under the Common Services Centres (CSC) scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The collaboration aims to establish a Digital University offering accredited online degree programs and certifications, with CSCs acting as Digital Learning Centres across rural and underserved parts of India.

The initiative is designed to combine PW’s academic expertise in education and skill development with CSCA’s grassroots digital infrastructure. Programs will be delivered through online, offline, and hybrid formats, making use of the extensive CSC network to improve reach and accessibility.

The partnership will also focus on skill-based training and co-developing certification programs in areas such as Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Behavioural Science. Additionally, PhysicsWallah will provide training to CSC Academy staff and Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) to support the delivery of academic services at the local level.

“At PhysicsWallah, we believe education should be accessible to every learner, regardless of geography or background. Our partnership with CSC Academy attempts to bring structured learning and trusted guidance to students in rural and underserved communities. This initiative will try to build an inclusive educational ecosystem that leaves no student behind,” said Prateek Maheshwari, Co-Founder of PhysicsWallah.

“At CSC Academy, our mission has always been to bridge the digital and educational divide in rural India. This collaboration with PhysicsWallah will attempt to bring affordable education to learners in the remotest corners of the country. Together, we’re not just delivering content, we’re trying to deliver hope, opportunity, and a pathway to prepare for the future,” said Pravin Chandekar, CEO, CSC Academy.

The partnership aims to create a scalable model of inclusive learning by combining educational content with last-mile digital infrastructure to ensure learners across India have access to quality education and skills training.
