New Delhi, January 16, 2026: Mankind Pharma Limited has inaugurated Digital Smart Classrooms in Ghaziabad under its flagship CSR platform, KindCare, strengthening access to technology-enabled education in government schools. The initiative was launched in partnership with SEEDS Impact and inaugurated by Sunil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Sheetal Arora, Chief Executive Officer, Mankind Pharma Limited.

The launch marks a key milestone in Mankind Pharma’s Digital Smart Classroom Initiative, which focuses on improving learning outcomes through interactive, technology-driven classrooms in government schools. Designed with a community-first approach, the programme prioritises district-level implementation to ensure measurable and sustainable impact at the grassroots.

Under the initiative, 400 government schools across Uttar Pradesh have been targeted, with 460 digital classrooms already operational. These classrooms are benefiting thousands of students by enabling curriculum-aligned, audio-visual learning through tools such as the K-Yan device, particularly supporting schools with limited physical infrastructure.

In addition to digital infrastructure, the programme places strong emphasis on teacher capacity-building. More than 2,400 teachers have undergone structured training programmes aimed at integrating digital tools into everyday classroom teaching. The training includes hands-on sessions, classroom simulations, and continuous support through helplines and digital communities to ensure effective adoption.

Sunil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said, “Mankind Pharma deserves recognition for its commitment to strengthening education in underserved communities through the Digital Smart Classroom Initiative. By enabling technology-led learning in government schools, the initiative addresses critical gaps in access and quality at a time when digital literacy is essential for future opportunity. Its community-first approach, with a strong focus on empowering teachers and strengthening local school ecosystems, ensures that the benefits are sustainable and reach those who need them most.”

Sheetal Arora, Promoter & CEO, Mankind Pharma Limited, said, “Education has the power to shape not just individual futures but the destiny of communities. Through KindCare, our CSR platform, we have consciously taken a community-first approach, focusing on areas where access to quality education remains a challenge. The Digital Smart Classroom Initiative is rooted in empathy and responsibility, recognising that true progress begins when students and teachers are given the right tools, confidence, and support to succeed.”

Mr. R. Purushotham, CEO, SEEDS Impact, added, “The initiative undertaken by Mankind Pharma under its CSR to establish digital classrooms in government schools reflects its strong commitment to society and to nurturing India’s youth. The provision of digital classes will greatly support students in understanding concepts and complex topics more effectively.”

The Digital Smart Classroom Initiative is a core pillar of KindCare, Mankind Pharma’s CSR framework focused on health and hygiene, education, environment, and livelihood development. Through sustained investment, strong partnerships, and a focus on outcomes, Mankind Pharma continues to align its CSR efforts with national priorities while addressing local community needs.
