New Delhi, Jun 3, 2025: Home design brand Life n Colors has undertaken strategic initiatives across its operations to reduce its environmental impact.

As part of its ongoing commitment to carbon-conscious design, Life n Colors has offset 90,000 kilograms of energy-related carbon emissions generated during the production of its wallpapers, wall art, and home textiles for FY 2024–25. This milestone was achieved by retiring verified carbon credits (Verified Emission Reductions or VERs) from a renewable energy project in India, certified under VERRA’s global standards. Over the past 12 months, Life n Colors has brought vibrant, sustainable design into approximately 9,000 homes, with over 11,200 wallpapers sold - each piece contributing to a lower-impact, planet-positive future.

Ashutosh Pandey, Co-founder of Life n Colors, said, “We believe beauty should never come at the cost of the planet. Designing luxurious spaces means being mindful of the impact we create, and that’s what drives every sustainability decision we make. From the energy we consume to the materials we source, every step is an opportunity to act consciously. These initiatives reflect our long-term belief that luxury and sustainability can, and must, go hand in hand.”

To reduce dependence on fossil fuels, the brand has installed a 5 kW rooftop solar power plant, enabling the use of clean energy at its facilities and supporting the brand’s vision of energy self-sufficiency in the near future.

Recognizing the need to restore ecological balance, Life n Colors has also planted 50 trees in Bandrol village, Alwar district, Rajasthan. This symbolic gesture helps offset paper consumption in wallpaper manufacturing while supporting local biodiversity.

Furthering its efforts to reduce environmental harm, the company has now adopted sustainable and recyclable packaging materials across all product categories. This shift aims to lower plastic usage and minimize landfill waste, ensuring packaging aligns with the principles of circular design and global eco-packaging benchmarks.

With these new measures, Life n Colors continues to lead the way in integrating sustainability into home design.
