New Delhi, July 17, 2024: The Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) Delhi, in collaboration with M3M Foundation and the implementing partner National Institute for Educational & Development (NIED), has inaugurated a Skill Academy in Noida to provide skill training to youths.
This academy aims to revolutionize youth skilling and empowerment in the region, offering cutting-edge programs to enhance employability and foster personal growth. More than 400 young adults will be provided training in the first year.
Dr Payal Kanodia, Chairperson of YFLO Delhi, said, "The launch of Skill Academy represents unwavering commitment to equipping the youth with essential skills for their professional and personal development. I am proud to share our vision to train around 1,000 youth in 2024, with a special focus on empowering women. In addition to this training initiative, our YFLO members will also mentor young entrepreneurs, providing them with the guidance and support they need to succeed. Through these efforts, we aim to foster a new generation of skilled and confident individuals who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and industries."
The inauguration ceremony of the Skill Academy at Sector 49 was held on July 16. The event welcomed Dr Payal Kanodia, Chairperson of YFLO Delhi, and Dr Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee & President of M3M Foundation, along with esteemed dignitaries and community leaders to celebrate this pivotal moment in Noida's educational landscape. To support and show more solidarity core committee members of YFLO Delhi, Neha Joshi Jain, Rashi Anand, and Divya Poddar Arya were also present to extend their heartfelt commitment to the program.
In his address, Dr Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee & President of M3M Foundation emphasized the transformative impact of such initiatives, stating, "Skill Academy embodies the spirit of innovation and empowerment, crucial for nurturing future leaders and change-makers."
Skill Academy is poised to become a pivotal hub for skill development, offering specialized courses in technology, entrepreneurship, and vocational training. The academy's curriculum is tailored to meet industry demands, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the competitive job market.
