Bengaluru, July 03, 2025: Delta Electronics India, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Technical Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu. The announcement was made during the launch of the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School (NMFS) initiative at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin, along with senior government officials and industry leaders.

The CoE aims to provide advanced technical training in Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), industrial automation, robotics, and PLC programming. It will be equipped with Delta’s proprietary automation technologies, smart classrooms, and real-time simulation zones to offer immersive learning experiences.

“As India moves rapidly toward becoming a global manufacturing hub, skilled talent will be the key differentiator. This CoE is a direct reflection of Delta’s belief in inclusive progress—bringing education, industry, and innovation together. We’re grateful to TNSDC for their vision and look forward to supporting more such transformative projects in the future,” said Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India.

The program will offer 3-to-6-month training modules co-designed with Delta’s industry experts and aligned with global certification standards. It emphasizes employability, with a 70% placement assurance and a focus on including women and economically disadvantaged youth.

“Delta is proud to partner with the Government of Tamil Nadu in building a future-ready skilled workforce. Through this Centre of Excellence, we are not only strengthening our commitment to nation-building but also creating pathways for underserved youth to access opportunities in high-growth sectors. Our goal is to equip learners with job-relevant skills, certified training, and exposure to real-world factory environments,” said Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India.

Key highlights of the CoE include:

  • Location: Krishnagiri district, a first for the region.
  • Training Areas: ESDM, robotics, industrial automation, and smart manufacturing.
  • Facilities: Delta-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and hands-on simulation environments.
  • Inclusivity: Special emphasis on women and economically weaker section candidates.
  • Cost: No-cost model for trainees with infrastructure, faculty, and training provided by Delta.

The initiative aligns with Delta Electronics India’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, which focus on education, employability, and environmental sustainability. The company continues to invest in long-term community development through renewable energy, biodiversity programs, and now, technical education.
