New Delhi, January 24, 2024: Agastya International Foundation, known for its commitment to experiential learning, is collaborating with Class Saathi, an AI-powered student engagement and performance tracking solution. Powered by TagHive, a Samsung-funded company, Class Saathi integrates data-driven learning through easy assessments into Agastya's educational initiatives.
Agastya International Foundation operates mobile science learning labs, science centers, and Labs on Bikes across 23 Indian states, reaching over 1 million students. The organization's mission is to provide hands-on STEAM education and design-thinking to economically disadvantaged children and government schoolteachers through experiential, project-based, and peer-to-peer learning.
Supported by various corporations and foundations in India, Agastya's programs leverage Class Saathi’s Bluetooth-based clicker technology. This allows facilitators nationwide to seamlessly integrate continuous assessment into experiential learning programs.
Currently impacting over 700 schools and involving over 200 instructors, the collaboration aims to assess more than 75,000 students.
IIT and Harvard alumnus Pankaj Agarwal, CEO at TagHive, said “Class Saathi powers over 6,000 classrooms in India and South Korea, and we are honored to work with Agastya to bring our technology to even more students across India. We truly believe in the idea of interactive and engaging education, and working with an organization that embodies that concept has been an enriching experience for us. We are looking forward to working with even more Agastya centers in the future.”
Sastry Adiraju, CTO, Agastya International Foundation, said, “Class Saathi is helping us build the In-Class Assessment infrastructure in various government schools we operate in across the country. With its ability to operate without internet, Class Saathi offered a viable, easy-to-use digital platform to administer a variety of assessments we conduct in our schools.”
Agastya International Foundation and TagHive Inc. plan to deepen their partnership, focusing on a seamless integration of data-driven and experiential science-based learning in centers and schools throughout India. The overarching goal remains to create a brighter future for students across the country.
