Special features of the organization
This year ADSW has stood for and promoted grass-root empowerment of the Backward Class and other oppressed sections specially the women and adolescent girls. The multifarious activities undertaken during the year for the rural poor have capacitated them which we believe will assist them to lead a dignified quality life in future. , , ADSW has successfully established a good relationship and effective linkage with democratic structures functioning at all levels through interactions, sharing informatics and mobilizing available resources for the poor and marginalized people of our operational area. , , I convey my sincere gratitude to alt the members and staff of our organization, for their dedication and tireless efforts for the cause of the downtrodden people. Special honour to our Local Self Government, NYK (Paschim Medinipur), Raja Ram Mohun Roy Library Foundation (Kolkata), NABARD (Paschim Medinipur), K-CERA (Kolkata), Debra ICDS Project (Paschim Medinipur), Local Clubs without whose support we wouldn t have been able to achieve our objectives. , For the fulfilling the above mentioned objectives, the society have taken up the following activities: , , 1. Training on Eco-Friendly Agricultural Practices , 8. Women s Empowerment Programs , 9. Awareness camp on SHG formation & Leadership training of SHGs Leaders , 10. Vocational Training on Beauty Culture & Health Care and Jute Product under KSY , 11. Rural Library , 12. Running Music & Dancing School, Sketching and Drawing School , 13. Adolescents Health & Development Program (Life skill Training for Teenage and Kishories) , 14. Camp on Substance Abuse , 15. Annual Sports, Tournament and Cultural Program , 16.
