SOCIETY FOR WELFARE OF CHILDREN was established as a registered society,under the West Bengal Societies registration act on 7th May,2001. Since then the Society is working relentlessly for the underprivileged children in the areas of Education, Health and Wellbeing., , The main thrust of the Society is spreading awareness for Prevention of Disability, Early Intervention and Economic Rehabilitation. The child development centre of the Society has been able to take care of more than 500 children.
