Special features of the organization

*supported 54 Tribal hotels of about 5000-8000 tribal boys and girls annually since 1969-2009 for primary education through food aid program. , *Supported 1971 Indo-Pakisthan war victims, Bagladesh refugees of about 2-3 millions in relief and rehabilitation since 1971-1985. , *formed and strengthened 2000 Self Help Groups and 29 Farmers Clubs. , *Built up good network and working coordination with Govt.offices in Districts and blocks, Gram Panchayat, formed about 25 GPDMC and 9 BDMC while working on Natural disaster management. , * Supported and trained farmers on improved agriculture, New Technology on System of Rice intensification, Zero Tillage,popularized organic pesticide-organic manure etc.in North Dinajpur and South Dinajpur districts.
