Special features of the organization

The organisation has been able to intervene 56 child abuse cases, 118 medical cases, 213 missing children cases and 86 shelter cases for the distressed children. A huge and long standing rapport has been developed with the 35 Gram Panchayats and 16 councilor in the entire block of Baduriya, Swarupnagar, Habra-1 , Habra 2 and Deganga. The organisation has provided pre-primary non-formal education to 32,016 boys and 33,862 girls, all in the age-group of 5-14. 4,591 boys and 4,665 girls have already been mainstreamed into various private and government-run formal schools. 25 trafficked victims have been rescued and restored with the families. 18 FIR have been lodged by the organisation in against of the traffickers. 54 child trafficking cases have been documented by the organisation where the where about of the victims are not known. The organisation identified 123 volunteers in the community those who are actively supporting the organisation for spreading awareness and case referral. The organisation has been actively working on promotion and activation of JJ systems and promotion of RTE act in the various block level of North 24 Pgs, West Bengal. It is also working for linking children and their families with the different welfare schemes of the government and the non-govt organisation. The organisation has set up of a child friendly corner at Habra police stations with the involvement of MP, MLA and local councillors. It also achieve to promote awareness of child rights with the help of the station master of Machlandapur and Habra railway station where all police personnel proactively supported the organisation. The Organisation has set up 87 SHGs in 36 villages of various blocks of North 24 Pgs. Women involved in this group have been linked with the entrepreneurship development programme and earning their livelihood.
