Rangapat started working since early 2004. We have 11Theatre Productions like Jyotsnar Kathamala, Sonar Chabi, Chokhe Angul Dada, Parabas, Tusher Agun, Aurangzeb & Jhum-jhumi, Muktadhara, Tathagata, Dharmashok and preparation for the 11th production Krishna Paksha is underway. Besides, The group is continuously bringing out its Annual Theatre Magazine, Rangapat Natyapatra, 11 issues so far,12th issue is on the process valuable and voluminous, contained with research works on legendry playwrights, Paintings, plays, articles and theatre news. We have started Theatre School, Mohit Natya Vidylaya, in 2012 in memory of Mohit Chattapadhyaya, to generate interest and enthusiasm about Theatre and to propagate academics and applications of Theatre amongst the Theatre internees. We organised a handful of Theatre festivals like 75th Birth Aniversary celebration of Sri Mohit Chattopadhyay, Debsankar Natya Mela, Restrospective Theatre festival on Sri Harimadhab Mukhopadhyay, Moner Majhe Mohit, O Alor Pathajatri. We offer 5 Award and Felicitations every year for Best theatre production, Best playwright, Lifetime Theatre achievement, Eminent backstage activist and Most promising theatre internee. We run projects, in the name of Theatorch in the schools for motivating children towards theatre since 2010. We offer social aids to the people and Theatre activists in distress on different occassions. We also organise Seminar, Workshop, Playwriting competetions throughout the year to enlighten ourselves and to promote theatre activities.
