Ramakrishna Mission Residential College Narendrapur

You would be glad to know that over the last few years our college has witnessed major achievements in the field of academic and research activities. Not only has it been conferred the Autonomous Status, but it has also been given the much coveted status of Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by DST, Government of India. This has enabled the college to enjoy 175% tax exemption on all donations towards Research and Development of the College. The college is at present one of the leading colleges in the Eastern Region with a very high score of 3.56 CGPA out of 4.00, awarded by NAAC in 2012. Along with these new achievements, there has been manifold increase in the activities of the college. The three Postgraduate Departments - Chemistry, Physics and English - have initiated various research projects. Moreover, it has recently been conferred the status of CPE (Colleges with potential for excellence) by the UGC.
