MAJOR ACTIVITIES. , , RCHSS started its work with environmental activities. Planting trees with students in and around 40 villages in the year 1987to1992 and continues till date. , , From the year 1887 RCHSS started to organize and maintain SHGs in holistic way. , , RCHSS implemented the nutrition and health program with the kind help from , USAID/CRS/Agriculture Ministry,GOI till 2002 among tribal and othersegment of the community. , , RCHSS implemented the RCH program in1994 under Rolling Fund scheme of Government of India through CINI. , , RCHSS started to work with local PRIs to facilitate the pro-poo policy of the governments. , , RCHSS started to implement innovative family welfare scheme with the financial support from the government under SCOVA committee. , , RCHSS started to implement health and nutrition program with CARE and continued upto June, 2009. , , RCHSS implemented a program to help and support the girls to continue their education and avoid the hazards of early marriage with the support from MISEREOR. , , RCHSS implemented a programme to enhance the health condition of the tribal mass with the support from MEMISA/CORDAID. , , RCHSS started to implement program to preserve and enhance organic farming and continuing. , , RCHSS facilitated thr Action Research by the University of Keel,SIPRD-WB and DFID on pro-poor governance. , , RCHSS started to implement Mother NGO scheme as a FNGO to address the RCH problems. , , RCHSS implemented ISM & H scheme under H&FW,GOI. , , RCHSS facilitated the micro planning of a local government area to support the preparation of Human Development Report of the district Malda under the department of Development and planning ,WB. , , RCHSS implemented a poverty eliviation programme in 9 GPs of the district with CASA/BFW. , , RCHSS became MNGO for Malda district under MNGO scheme of the department of Health and Family Welfare. Also started the hand holding and training support to ASHAs of the district Malda. , , RCHSS started an anti trafficking programme in the district of Darjeeling. , , RCHSS started to implement SILK CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT programme with NABARD & NISIET,Hyderabad. , , RCHSS started to implement financial inclusion programme by organising SHGs and linking them with Financial Institutions with NABARD. , , RCHSS started to implement quality and inclusive education programme with SCF/EU in 50 brick kilns of Malda district. , , RCHSS started to implement an advocacy programme to support ongoing SSA in the district. , , RCHSS each and every year accommodating students from various parts of the world including foreign universities and IRMA like management institutes for sharing and cross learning , the experiences. , , RCHSS supported 2 local researches on Micro insurance and Climate Change. , , MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT. , , RCHSS able to facilitate near about 80,000 families to move through self initiative with self esteem to establish their own power structures. , , Communities enhanced towards mobilizing existing human and natural resources for self sustenance. , , Communities able to establish and raise government resources effectively. , , Enhanced the knowledge base of people with indigenous and appropriate technical knowledge.
